Man,
I really enjoy Good-Tutorials. You are the love of my life.
Thank you.
So,
how much bandwidth do you use a month?
A rough guesstimate is about 250 gigs a month.
How
the heck do I do this in Photoshop? Can you fix my version of
Photoshop?
Please don't email me with any specific Photoshop
questions. I simply don't have the time to help you out. I'd
suggest you try another website or go to a friendly graphics
message board and ask your questions there- you'll most likely get
much more timely and better advice.
This
tutorial is down; can you send it to me?
Nope. I'm in the same boat as you. If a site goes down
(temporarily or permanently) I can't help you- I don't keep local
copies of my tutorials.
I'm
having problems with this tutorial.
I can't help you. You'll have to ask the writer of the individual
tutorial- I didn't write all of these tutorials. ;)
I've
changed my site. How do I let you know about my new URLs?
This I can help you with. Head over to my
about page and send me a quick email. To make things easier
for everyone please send me the following information in your
email:
ID
of the old tutorial on my site | your new URL
The ID can be found by looking at the tracking URL: good-tutorials.com/track/trackingIDhere
Thanks for your help.
I
want to exchange links.
So do I, but I'm sure you realize why I can't just exchange links
with everyone- my page would be 5 Megs in size from all the
exchanges! For that reason I'm very selective in whom I trade
links with. If you have over 10,000 unique visitors a day and if
your site is related to technology, send me an email and let me
know. I'm considering either a top site or rotating function in
the future for those of you who don't quite meet the traffic limit
yet.
I
love your site. Can I do something to help?
Pretty much the biggest thing I'd like is just to help spread the
word along. If you like it, tell others about it. You can do this
on forum posts (don't Spam, of course!) or by
linking to Good-Tutorials. More opportunities to help might
come up in the future.
How
long will it take for my tutorial to be on the site?
First off, there are no guarantees that your tutorial will be
listed Good-Tutorials. It might vary from day to day, but I might
only take anywhere from 40% to 80% of tutorials that are submitted
per day. Paying attention to the
guidelines will ensure your tutorial will get listed. It's
also hard to give a ballpark on usual wait times. A good rule of
thumb is anywhere from
4 to
10 days. Some days it might take longer, it just depends on how
many tutorials I have waiting to be reviewed (and yes, every
tutorial is manually reviewed). |
